Hazmat

Hazmat teams are trained to handle material spills, leaks and fires. These include natural and chlorine gas leaks, fuel spills, chemical spills, rail cars, boat and industrial accidents. More and more times our crews are called to fires where there are illegal marijuana grow operations or clandestine methamphetamine labs.

Our teams are trained to the NFPA technician level and are capable of making level “A” suit entries.

Our Hazmat team is now training for not only Chemical response but also Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN).
