Burn Fund

Supported by more than 3,400 firefighters province wide, the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters Association is dedicated to burn prevention as well as providing support for burn survivors and offering recovery programs. The BCPFFA Burn Fund provides funding for equipment, training of medical staff and the operation of a burn survivor summer camp.

The Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society has a long history of supporting British Columbia’s burn survivors. Since the 1970’s we have been raising funds in a variety of ways. The largest fundraiser being the annual Christmas light display at Bob and Marg’s Winter Wonderland. This event raised over $800,000 and was a premier location for people wanting to get in the holiday spirit and for local tour busses making the Christmas Light circuit.

In total The Surrey firefighters have raised over $2,000,000.00 for burn treatment and continue to be one of the largest supporters of the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters Association Burn Fund.
