On May 10th, 2019 Local 1271 hosted a Grand Opening of Station 1271. “This facility will serve as a heritage community building in Surrey, while housing both the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Association and Charitable Society. It was great to see so many of the community leaders attend and it was also a true honour having SFFA Badge 1 Harold Barge’s family join us for the ribbon cutting” says Local 1271 President Mark McRae.
