Mayor’s Charity Fundraiser
Thank you to Mayor Brenda Locke and her team for hosting the Mayor’s Evening of Joy in support of the Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society. It was a fantastic night that brought our community together, and significant funds were raised thanks to everyone’s generosity. We’ll be sharing an announcement soon with the final net amount.
During the event, we were also proud to announce the establishment of The Brenda Locke Legacy Award — a new $2,500 annual bursary that will support Surrey students for years to come.
Events like this truly strengthen our ability to serve families across Surrey. Our off-duty members now support more than 175 community initiatives each year, with our largest being the SFFCS Nutritional Snack Program, ensuring thousands of students have access to healthy snacks throughout the school year.
